This Sunrise Sunset Tour is chiefly designed for those nature lovers as the sunrise view gives relaxation and the beginning of the new day with full of good fortune. The view of the sunrise and sunset view over the Himalayas will bid you the supreme experience of your lifetime.
On this 10 day tour, you will not only be observing the sunrise and sunset views but also sense some of the several UNESCO World Heritage Site scattered in Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur.
Nepal has many known places to view the sunrise and sunset but we will be visiting particularly famous locations like Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, and Daman. Also, we will be touring the beautiful Pokhara city and reach Sarangkot which is the prominent site to view the sunrise in the Annapurna region. And we will be also be sightseeing some of the sites of Pokhara city. This tour begins with sightseeing some of the heritage sites of Kathmandu. We will start from the Kathmandu Durbar Square. This palace is an antiquated site used by kings in the past to rule over the kingdom. Surrounding this square are many temples which are built in pagodas style. Next one will be the Pashupatinath temple which is one of the significant temples for the Hindus. Thousands of devotees visit this temple from around the world every year. It is also used as a cremation site for Hindus.
After that, we head to the monkey temple which is 3 km away. From this Swayambhunath temple, you get to view the beautiful Kathmandu valley. Then we head to visit the Boudhanath Stupa which is one of the highest stupas in South Asia. Next day, we will be heading to the ancient city Patan and Bhaktapur. In Patan, you can visit some of the temples surrounded by various ancient arts, architecture, and historical monuments. Next would be exploring Bhaktapur city. It is also called as the city of devotees. After exploring this city, we will drive to Nagarkot and as we are scheduled to reach in the mid-evening; we will enjoy the sunset view. The following days we will be exploring other places like Dhulikhel, Daman, and Pokhara.

Accent Himalaya manages its best to provide good food and comfortable accommodation. During your tour, standard hotel (rated 2-3 stars) will be provided. However, if you are willing to spend more, we can arrange some luxurious room from 4-5 star hotels.
All the meals and breakfast required for you are included in our package. Dinner and breakfast will be served in the same lodge where you spend overnight and the team leader or guide will find you a good place for lunch on the way to your destination.
You will be carrying a small backpack with your water bottle, camera, tissue paper, towel, or other gears that you need to use frequently. The clothes and gears that you don’t need can be packed and left in the locker or safe deposit box in the hotel free of cost.
Normal weight limit at Nepal’s domestic airline is 15 kg including your hand carry and in case you exceed the limit, you need to pay the extra amount which is not included in our package.
Accent Himalaya provides you a very trained and experienced tour guide who will handle all the logistics and other issues that may emerge during your tour. If you are visiting in a bigger group, we will provide you an additional guide.
Personal Expenses on Trek
Personal expense literally depends upon your personal habit; whether you are alcoholic or non-alcoholic, extravagant or thrifty and so on. Normally, the cost of the meal and accommodation during the trek are covered in our package and you will be liable to pay for table drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), snacks while trekking, souvenirs, hot shower (available in some places) tips to the guide or porters, meals during your stay at Kathmandu (a normal meal costs $ 5-7 in Kathmandu) as well as the entrance fees during your city tour to different places in Kathmandu (approximately $ 25). Tips to the guide or porter are your personal choice. However, we suggest you give tip and allocate 5-10 percent of your total tour cost if you are satisfied with their service.
Our Greetings at Airport
We advise you to flow the information of your international flight details after you confirm your Trip with Accent Himalaya for our meeting and greetings. Right after you cross the Customs and check out of the terminal building, you will find our representative holding a placard with your name or the name of the company (Accent Himalaya) and drop you to your hotel in a private car. In case you have booked the hotel by yourself, we suggest you inform us in advance the name of the hotel you are about to stay so that our representative can drop you to your hotel and would be easier to meet with the team leader or the guide.
Itinerary and Possible Changes on it
Our normal Itinerary is the most usual and practicable. In the package, the days of your arrival and departure and a day of city tour are also counted. In case you have managed your further schedule, you want to exclude those days and just want us to help you with the trip part, upon your inquiry, we can rearrange and adjust the itinerary according to your wish and let you know about the final cost for the trip.
Also, you can extend your trip if you feel it necessary with consultation with our guide on the way to your destination but we recommend you to finish the trip within the last day mentioned in our package as many unforeseen circumstances may befall at any time.
Booking and Payment
You are required to make 20% (non-refundable) payment in advance in order to confirm and book the trip along with a photocopy of your passport and flight details (arrival detail, flight name, number and time) and the remaining 80% balance is due when you arrive in Nepal. You have an option of paying the advance by bank transfer or credit card. So, do let us know which modes of payment are convenient for you, then we will forward the details of payment.
