This tour covers the chief Highlights of Nepal. We will be sightseeing few heritage sites of the Kathmandu valley, Nagarkot, Pokhara, and Chitwan. At this 10 days tour, we will escort you to the ancient monasteries, palaces, and temples of which some are 2500 years old brilliantly built with ancient arts and architecture.
We will also be heading to the bank of Trishuli stream to Chitwan district and then to Chitwan National Park and subsequently drive to Pokhara, where you will be experiencing a small hike to Sarangkot. From Sarangkot, you get the marvelous view of Mount Annapurna and other numerous peaks from the top. We will even visit some of the best spots of Pokhara and also be savoring boating in the Fewa Lake.
The highlights tour to Nepal begins from Kathmandu where we will be exploring some of the ancient heritage sites. We will also be heading to the Nagarkot to view the dawn and twilight. The following day we will drive to Chitwan to visit the Chitwan National Park (you can spot the Bengal tiger if lucky!). We will ride at the elephant back and go through the jungle to discover one-horned rhino, Bengal tigers, birds and several other animals. We will also be visiting the Tharu village communities to explore their culture and traditions. People of these communities are more a-like people living in India.
The following day, we will drive to Pokhara and hike to Sarangkot where one gets to see the striking view of the Annapurna, Manaslu and the Dhaulagiri as well as Fewa Lake. Pokhara city can be seen very incredible from the top of the Sarangkot. It is also one of the best spots to do adventuresome activities like paragliding, bungee jumping etc. and next we will be sightseeing some of the hotspots of Pokhara. Next, we will drive to Kathmandu and then to Nagarkot and view the sunset and next morning we will be viewing the beautiful sunrise. Finally, we will conclude our tour by sightseeing Patan and Bhaktapur.
The most wonderful time to visit Nepal and tour around the realm will be best during spring (March-May) and fall (September-December). If you are well accustomed to winter and like to avoid big masses while touring, you can also visit in winter.
