One can see many tourists from different countries roaming around these two beautiful cities where you feel like you are in your hometown.
Pokhara city is at an elevation of 915 meters is the best location to spot the Himalayas with the sunrise view and experience a small hiking to the Sarangkot valley where you get the amazing view of the entire Himalayas. You even get to perceive the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri ranges. We will be also sightseeing the Pokhara city, relishing at Fewa Lake and other sites. This tour is only a 7-day tour where you will be traveling to the most beautiful location of these two cites.
Kathmandu is very much famous for exploring the diverse heritage sites of Nepal. At Kathmandu valley, we will be visiting the four heritage sites exploring the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa on the first day. The next day, we will visit the ancient medieval cities Patan and the Bhaktapur which is famed for ancient arts and architecture and the typical culture. And in the mid-afternoon, we head to Nagarkot where one get the magnificence view of the Himalayas amidst twilight.
The following day, we head early morning to enjoy the sunrise view and drive to the Pokhara valley. Next day, we would wake up early and be hiking to the Sarangkot valley where one gets the beautiful view of the entire Annapurna peaks, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail peaks and other several peaks, visit the Davis fall, Mahindra cave, Museum and Tibetan refugee camp etc. This trip also includes boating in Fewa lake and exploring this beautiful city. We drive back to Kathmandu and next day leave to own respective destination.
Kathmandu and Pokhara tour can be done effortlessly; one can schedule it during spring on the month of March to May and fall on the month of September to December. If you don’t like to take a trip during this crowded season, you can even do in the winter from the month of January and February. Accent Himalaya manages its best to provide good food and comfortable accommodation. During your stay in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Nagarkot - standard hotels (rated 2-3 stars) will be provided. However, if you are willing to pay more, we can arrange some deluxe room from 4-5 star hotels.
All the meals and breakfast required for you are included in our package. Dinner and breakfast will be served in the same lodge where you spend overnight and the team leader or guide will find you a good place for lunch on the way to your destination.
You will be carrying a small backpack with your water bottle, camera, tissue paper, towel, or other gears that you need to use frequently. The clothes and gears that you don’t need can be packed and left in the locker or safe deposit box in the hotel free of cost.
Normal weight limit at Nepal’s domestic airline is 15 kg including your hand carry and in case you exceed the limit, you need to pay the extra amount which is not included in our package.
Accent Himalaya provides you a very trained and experienced tour guide who will handle all the logistics and other issues that may emerge during your tour. If you are visiting in a bigger group, we will provide you an additional guide.
Personal Expenses on Trek
A personal expense literally depends upon your personal habit; whether you are alcoholic or non-alcoholic, extravagant or thrifty and so on. Normally, the cost of the meal and accommodation during the trek are covered in our package and you will be liable to pay for table drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), snacks while trekking, souvenirs, hot shower (available in some places) tips to the guide or porters, meals during your stay at Kathmandu (a normal meal costs $ 5-7 in Kathmandu) as well as the entrance fees during your city tour to different places in Kathmandu (approximately $ 25). Tips to the guide or porter are your personal choice. However, we advise you to give tip and allocate 5-10 percent of your total tour cost if you are satisfied with their service.
Our Greetings at Airport
We advise you to flow the information of your international flight details after you confirm your Trip with Accent Himalaya for our meeting and greetings. Right after you cross the Customs and check out of the terminal building, you will find our representative holding a placard with your name or the name of the company (Accent Himalaya) and drop you to your hotel in a private car. In case you have booked the hotel by yourself, we suggest you inform us in advance the name of the hotel you are about to stay so that our representative can drop you to your hotel and would be easier to meet with the team leader or the guide.
Itinerary and Possible Changes on it
Our normal Itinerary is the most usual and practicable. In the package, the days of your arrival and departure and a day of city tour are also counted. In case you have managed your further schedule, you want to exclude those days and just want us to help you with the trip part, upon your inquiry, we can rearrange and adjust the itinerary according to your wish and let you know about the final cost for the trip. Also, you can extend your trip if you feel it necessary with consultation with our guide on the way to your destination but we recommend you to finish the trip within the last day mentioned in our package as many unforeseen circumstances may befall at any time.
Booking and Payment
You are required to make 20% (non-refundable) payment in advance in order to confirm and book the trip along with a photocopy of your passport and flight details (arrival detail, flight name, number and time) and the remaining 80% balance is due when you arrive in Nepal. You have an option of paying the advance by bank transfer or credit card. So, do let us know which modes of payment are convenient for you, then we will forward the details of payment.
