This beautiful journey begins from the capital city visiting the four heritage sites enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is an ancient palace where Malla king ruled over this country a century ago. Surrounding this square, there are few temples crafted with ancient arts and architectures. Next, we will explore the Pashupatinath temple - one of the sacred temple of Hindus which is said to be the abode of Lord Shiva. The same day, we will be visiting another site – the Swayambhunath temple (also recognized as monkey temple). Our next point of interest is the largest stupa of South Asia i.e. the Boudhanath stupa. The subsequent day, we fly to Jhapa and drive to Illam tea garden exploring the fine-looking greenery landscapes.
From the top of the Kanyam hill (1687 m), we get the impressive view of the Kanchenjunga and several other mountains. We then drive to Bhadrapur and take off back to Kathmandu and explore the two medieval cities Patan and Bhaktapur. We end our tour heading to Nagarkot whilst the famous point to view the sunrise and sunset. The best preferable season to visit this beautiful country is non-other than spring (March-May) and fall (September-December) as it’s the best time for tea plantation.
